A consolidated shareholder structure and new management to strengthen the company’s market position.
Hamburg, September 13, 2022 – Following a change in the shareholder structure of NDC Data Centers, Herbert Radlinger is the new co-Managing Director of data center developer NDC-GARBE Data Centers Europe.
The founding shareholders of NDC Data Centers, AQAL AG and Valuable Business Partner GmbH, exited the investment in June 2022, when the current joint venture partner – GARBE – acquired the company. Consequently, the previous managing director, CEO and co-founder of NDC Data Centers GmbH, Spyridon Linardakis, resigned to pursue new responsibilities.
Spyridon Linardakis is succeeded by Herbert Radlinger, who has already been a cornerstone of the NDC Data Centers and NDC-GARBE team since 2017, in the role of Technical Director first and VP for Projects & Solutions later. Radlinger has more than 25 years of experience in the data center industry, including technology, construction, and supply chain management. Previously, he was Managing Director at M+W Group (EXYTE) in the United Arab Emirates.
Herbert Radlinger joins the management in addition to Peter Pohlschröder. With the support of the shareholders, Radlinger intends to advance the mission of NDC-GARBE even further in the German and international markets. “At NDC-GARBE, we want to decouple the growing IT demand from its enormous energy and resource requirements. Through sustainable planning and construction of data centers, we contribute to decarbonizing digitization,” says Radlinger.
Through the consolidated shareholder structure, NDC-GARBE is now sustainably strengthening its commitment to the market. The shareholders and the new management will also jointly assume responsibility for the further growth of new and existing projects and for the further development of the services and the company. The founding shareholders AQAL AG and Valuable Business Partner GmbH laid the foundation and developed the company from its start-up phase to become one of the most innovative companies in the data center industry.
For the existing customers of NDC Data Centers and NDC-GARBE, nothing will change as a result of the new shareholder structure. They will continue to benefit from the companies’ expertise and passion for designing, building, and operating innovative and sustainable data centers.
